Community Outreach Events
Check out all Community Outreach Events below! At The Kroc Center, we strive to be a safe place to belong and grow. With that in mind, we've created opportunities for people of all ages, member or not, to engage and find community.
Sept 16–Nov 25*, Wed, 5–7pm
10 Classes, Ages 8–11
*No Class Oct 7
In this fun and interactive kids cooking class, children will learn how to create simple, healthy recipes while exploring the eight dimensions of the wellness wheel. This class builds confidence in the kitchen and lifelong healthy habits in a supportive and engaging environment.
Sept 16–Jun 2*, Wed, 3:30–5pm
Middle School Students
*No Class Oct 7, Nov 25, Dec 2, Dec 9, Dec 16, Dec 23, Dec 31, & Mar 31
Led by Licensed Professional Counselor Tim Young, Kroc CREW combines evidence-based emotional wellness curriculum with practical life skills instruction, mentorship, recreation, community-building, and ongoing encouragement. Kroc CREW is designed to create a consistent, welcoming environment where middle school students can connect with trusted adults and peers while developing emotional wellness, healthy coping skills, and life readiness.
Transportation from Woodland, Lakes, Canfield, and Charter to The Kroc Center is provided.
Game Night
Fourth Thursday of the Month, 5:30–7pm
Free for Everyone, Kroc Community Rooms

Invite your neighbors, invite your friends, game night is on us! Free to the community with a wide variety of board games and game night snacks available, you can also bring your own games to share with others. We'll do the clean up. Can't wait to see you there!

Jump back into school schedules and make Game Night at the Kroc a monthly family night of fun! This month you can join us for snacks and giant sized games.

Trick Shot
Community Rooms
Join us for an exciting evening of unbelievable trick shot games! Kids, teens and families are invited to compete in our trick shot challenges to win candy and a chance to win an overall trick shot game master prize!
Living Intentionally is rooted in community and centered on realizing goals. Setting and achieving goals, with others, is an exciting way to live with purpose. Obstacles can make it hard to stay on track. Join a community committed to intentional living, where we encourage and support one another as we work through the steps, wins and challenges of accomplishing goals. Feel free to join in at any time. Look for the next session to start following the holidays!
Goal Coaching & Accountability
Weekly on Wednesdays

Free
Making a goal might not amount to much without the proper tools and support in place to help you reach your goal. Looking to make your goal a reality? This free resource, available to Kroc members only, provides group goal coaching and accountability support to helping you succeed in your goals.
Kroc Story Corner
Kroc Story Corner is open to the community. Join us for Kroc Story Corner in our front lobby. Come hear stories after Toddler Time or before visiting Huckleberry Hollow! This is a great parent and child outing for all. Look out for special guests and activities!
