Booking a Party

How do I book a party?
You can book a party from the Front Desk of the Kroc Center or online through the Kroc Community site: https://cda.kroccommunity.org/. You will need to create an account to view the available party bookings.

Do I need to be a member to book a party or create an account?
You do not need to be a member to book a party, whether you are booking it through the Front Desk or online.

How early can I book my party?
You may book your party as early as two months in advance. A minimum of 10 days’ notice is required.

What do I owe when I book my party?
We take full payment upon booking. Birthday party packages start at $175.

What will happen if I have to cancel my party?
No cash refunds are given unless your party is cancelled by The Kroc Center.  If you cancel your party 7 or more days prior to the booked date, you will receive your full balance onto the household account as credit, minus a $25 booking fee. Cancellations/transfer requests made less than 7 days prior to the event date are not eligible for a refund or credit.

General Party Information

Can I come early to set up the room for my party?
Yes, you may come 15 minutes prior to your party start time.  Because we book parties every two hours if you come any earlier you may not be permitted into the room until it is ready.  Please wait in the lobby until your Birthday Attendant meets you and shows you to your party room.

What will be in the party room when we arrive?
The party room will include 5 rectangle tables and assorted chairs for both adults and children.  A sink and counter space are also some of the amenities of the party room. You will also have a Party Attendant there to help you with any additional assistance you may need. If further decorations are wanted, this is up to the party to provide.

Does my party include any other activities at The Kroc Center?
Your party only includes an hour of swim time and an hour of party room time.

Can we bring in our own party decorations?
Party decorations can be brought in including table cloths, balloons, paper plates and utensils. The set-up and take down of all decorations are the party’s responsibility.  We ask that glitter and confetti is avoided.

What if I have more than 30 guests?
Unfortunately, our party room can only accommodate 30 people.

If some of my guests are members, do they count in the maximum capacity?
Yes, all party guests count in the maximum capacity for the party, even if they are a member. For Splash Bash Pool Parties, we ask that all swimmers wear a wristband and are counted in the swimmer count. This is a fire code policy.

Food & Drinks

Can we bring food, dessert, and/or drinks to our party?
Food Ideas:

• Pizza
• Enclosed Beverages, i.e. juice boxes, Capri Sun, soda cans
• Cake/Cupcakes
• Individually Wrapped Ice Cream
• Fruit/Veggie Trays

Pizza can be delivered to the Kroc Center Front Desk. Please clarify that it is for a birthday party and add the birthday child’s name into the delivery instructions.

Splash Bash Pool Party

Can I have more than 15 swimmers?
Yes, a party can have more than 15 swimmers. The basic party package comes with up to 15 swimmers, but you may add more swimmers on the day of your party. Extra swimmers are $5 per person. Maximum capacity is 30 total guests, including all swimmers.

Can we swim after we go into the party room?
No, the room times must coincide with our pool schedule. Your party will start with 1 hour in the pool, and finish with 1 hour in the party room.

What are the requirements for going down the big yellow slide?
The swimmer must be at least 48 inches tall to go down the slide. Life jackets are not allowed on the slide.

What do I need to bring for a pool party?
All swimmers need to bring their own towel and wear swimming trunks or swimsuits (no cotton). All children who are not potty trained must wear a reusable swim diaper or both a disposable and plastic diaper in the pool. These are sold at The Kroc Center Front Desk if needed.

Am I allowed to take pictures during the party?
Due to our no-photography policy, the only place you are allowed to take pictures is in the party room out of respect for our members’ privacy.

What is the difference between a regular Splash Bash Pool Party and a Private Splash Bash Pool Party?
With a Private Splash Bash Pool Party:

• All 30 guests are allowed to swim with no extra payment.
• You and your guests will have access to our Cove pool with no other members swimming during your swim time.
• Because there are no other members swimming at the same time as your party, you are allowed to take pictures of your kiddos while they swim.

BOOKING & CANCELLATIONS

• Book a party online or at The Kroc Center Front Desk. Payment it due at sign up.

• 10 days notice is required to book parties. Charges for additional swimmers will be collected at time of party.

• State sales tax is not included in rates. Sales tax will be added to all party pricing.

• Full payment is required at the time of booking. If the party is cancelled by The Kroc Center you will receive a full refund. If you cancel the party 7 or more days prior to the booked date, you will receive a refund minus a $25 booking fee. You may transfer to another party date for a $10 transfer fee. Cancellation/transfer requests made less than 7 days prior to the event date are not eligible for a refund or credit.

GENERAL POLICIES

• Each party includes 1 hour in a private party room and 1 hour of swimming. 

• Set-up is allowed 15 minutes prior to party start time. Tacking decorations on the walls or windows is not permitted. Please no glitter or confetti.

• The group will have 15 minutes to clean up their room at the end of their party.

• The Kroc Center provides the tables, chairs, a sink, and counter space. You supply the party materials, including food, plates, forks, napkins, decorations, party favors, etc. 

• Approved Food/Drinks include: Pizza, Enclosed Beverages, Cake/Cupcakes, Individually Wrapped Ice Cream & Fruits/Veggie Trays. Pizza can be delivered to The Kroc Center Front Desk. Please clarify that it is for a birthday party and add birthday child’s name into the delivery instructions.
