Join us in supporting our neighbors around North Idaho during a time of unexpected need. 

The Kroc Center Community Outreach team has received information that there is a critical need for food bank support throughout the 5 northern counties of Idaho. This is due in part to the current government shutdown and the impact it has had on many families.

In response to this direct ask for help, The Salvation Army Kroc Center is collecting funds through the existing Families Feeding Families program. Beginning, Wednesday, November 5 and through Thanksgiving, any funds donated will be evenly distributed to six food banks who serve the five Northern counties of Idaho.

These food banks are able to use this money to fill local shelves with the food most needed for their clients and community members. Donating through The Kroc Center is a simple way to love your neighbor and will help extend our reach of support to those living in more rural North Idaho communities.

All cash donations can be made at the Kroc Center front desk or online. Please tell the person helping you that you would like your donation designated for Families Feeding Families.

The Kroc Center is not receiving physical food donations at this time. The best way we can all make an impact is through a financial contribution.

Thanks to your generous donations, you donated 3,672 pounds of shelf stable, protein rich food! This food was delivered to food banks across the five northern counties of Idaho: Lake City Market, Canvas Church Food Pantry, Post Falls Food Bank, Osborne Food Bank, Wallace Food Bank, and Spirit Lake Food Bank. As donations continue to come in, this support will continue throughout the year.
